Stay and Play at Lammack Methodist

Come and join in the fun at stay and play! We meet every Monday in term time from 9:30 until 11:30. The children enjoy a variety of crafts and activities with different toys to play with each week and a time to join together for singing and stories at the end of each session. We provide a healthy snack for the children and the kettle is always on for the grown ups.

£1.50 per family.

Toddlers at Mellor Methodist.

You'll receive a warm welcome at Mellor toddler group on a Thursday afternoon in term time from 1 to 3pm. The children have fun singing and sharing together at the end of an interactive session where they will have had the chance to make a craft, paint or play with a selection of different toys. A healthy snack is served each week with tea and coffee for the adults. Hope to see  you there!

Stay and Play Toddler Group – New Church

Open every Monday (except Bank Holidays) from 1pm – 2.30pm at New Methodist Church. Stay and Play offers parents/carers  the opportunity to meet for a chat and for toddlers to play in a safe and friendly environment. The sessions are free but a donation of £1 per person is suggested. Refreshments are provided for the adults and fresh fruit for the children. The Group is open during school holidays when older siblings are invited too. Craft activities are available during the school holidays.  Find us on Facebook.

West Pennine Slings at New Church

This takes place each Friday 1.00pm – 3pm and runs alongside the toddler group.    Refreshments and fruit are available for all.    The group promotes and offers support for parents wishing to use baby slings. Little Lambs at Rhyddings

This is a group for the Under 5s and their Carers. We meet for play, snacks, songs and craft at Rhyddings Methodist Church, Oswaldtwistle, BB5 3EP from 9.30-11.30am each term-time Friday.

Open every Thursday 10.30am – 12 noon at Spring Vale Methodist Church. Stay and Play offers parents/carers to meet for a chat and for toddlers to play in a safe and friendly environment. The sessions are free and refreshments are provided. The sessions are open during school holidays when older siblings are invited. Craft activities are available during the school holidays.

For Junior Schoolers :

Kid's Zone at Lammack Methodist.

Tuesday's 6 – 7.30pm. 7 – 11 year olds.

£1 subs plus 50p for tuck.

Come and join us at our interactive and social group at Lammack Methodist. We provide a safe place for kids to be kids. You can play games in the hall, make craft, play jenga or even have a go on our wii. Different activities organised each week and special termly events. Don't forget your tuck money!

Spring in Your Step at Spring Vale

Every Thursday 1:00 - 3:00. For the over 50's. £2:00 per session. Come along for tea and biscuits and a chat. A variety of activities including guest speakers, films, craft, films etc.

We meet in the coffee lounge on alternate Tuesdays

from  11th September    1.30 to 3.30 pm     

Drop in and visit us between these times.

Various activities on offer which will vary from week to week which you can join in or just sit and chat and have a tea or coffee and biscuit or two.

We’ll always have a jigsaw or two, board games and the dominoes out or you can bring whatever hobby or craft you’re doing at present.

A new Club this year so we’re open to suggestions and are doing more things as we go along including cardmaking, glass painting,

cross-stitch and a bit of line dancing?
